They’re tough and durable. We offer a limited warranty on each bag from 1-3 years depending on the model.
Our faBrics
Marathon provides only the finest quality fabric options for our bags – our premium custom nylons are backed with either PU or PVC (non-phthalate) to keep the interior of the bags completely dry while maximising durability and minimizing fabric weight. We also offer quality alternatives including Polyester with waterproof backing for those who prefer a different fabric texture.
All of our fabrics meet strict EU Reach standards and undergo stringent quality testing for optimising performance in school environments.
Our Buckles
Our buckles are made from high quality, hard-wearing plastic designed with the correct balance of tension which will bend rather than snap.
Our zips
Our zips are designed with super strength nylon thread for durability and are self-repairing and reversed on most products, helping keep out water and ensuring that they can be easily realigned if broken by simply unzipping and rezipping.
Our piping
Pipings are made with soft, supple PVC to avoid cracking, with widened flange to ensure construction quality when sewing into the bags.
Our Double taped seams
Internal seams are covered with hem tape which keeps them stronger, tidier and reduces the risk of catching, snapping and thread breakages, which also aiding with water resistance.
Our Anchor Stitching
Standard ‘X’ stitching at joints is overstitched with anchored joints, ensuring extra strength and reduced risk of tearing component joins, making your bags last longer.
